Thanks bro, I'm still surprised they were able to accurately dyno the cvt, I've heard everywhere it's difficult ,or impossible to get an accurate reading.

Yeah it was impossible to find a tuner that wanted to tune a CVT on a dyno, but they were good about it they tinkered with everything before putting it on the dyno to make sure everything went properly and that there were no issues.

I'm still curious as to how they got an accurate number, Unless you have paddle shifters with your cvt, then you can hold a gear, interesting stuff. .

Update to this post. I was finally able to be tuned, with these same mods I made 224whp on the CVT. This is without E85 and the tune is dialed back for CVT saftey.
Nice this would be my goal numbers with my cvt since I won't be running e85

Markham ON here, i have catless dp fp, and cat back exhaust, it is way too loud that attract too much attention of local police, i got a ticket for running catless within a month. I switched to oem ctr exhaust now and it is much more quiet. I have a sport too
Thanks for the info, I might just get something custom done

I don't have my pipes installed yet, how's the catless smell treating ya?

I have prl catless dp fp... it smells from day 1.. winter isnt as bad but now that the temp got warmer and the smell comes back more.
You will definitely smell fume and gas with window down. With window up and air circulation button on, i dont smell anything.
Everyone say my car stinks especially after a hard pull, so i doubt that catless car wont smell to be honest. Just my two cents.

Hi all!

I am a sport hatchback owner from Europe. With all of the usual mods (downpipe, intercooler, bigger exhaust, intake, ktuner and 27won turbo) how much power would this make with 93 octane and a custom tune?
Is the engine the same as the one on the Si? Some friends dynoed this car stock and was giving 205hp on a MT even though Honda advertises 182CV here...

Also, how much PSI can the 27won turbo handle? and the engine? What's the max without changing internals?

I'm thinking on buying the turbo and I'd like to know the results around here guys.

Reviving the thread.
I have a fk7 sport. I am on fbo eth and vittuned.
Stock clutch. (I know i know) My clutch has been holding so far.
I plan on buying a 27won turbo. I know I have to ditch my tune and load a 27won turbo map on ktuner to use it properly.
Will the car be daily-able on stock clutch?
Is it safe to do highway pulls without tearing my stock clutch?
I do highway pulls on my current set up and its been holding like a champ

Sorry to bust your bubble bit definitely not. But!!!! Yes and no. Yes it will hold if you keep your boost low but we both know theres no fun in that. The 27won on a custom tune can push well above 27psi. Just all depends on fuel quality so the motor doesnt pull timing due to a huge spike in k control.

Any good clutch setup with the OEM flywheel to hold 27won-esque torque figures?

I would imagine it would hold the same. Is it a custom vit tune? Stock turbo to 27won doesn’t give much torque increase just power and at a slightly later rpm. This would technically be easier on the clutch no? In general tho I have no idea how your clutch is holding up at all on a ethanol fbo tune unless vit specifically tunes you to be safe on stock clutch
