Hey, got it all installed today. Those TIP bolts were a mother lol. Also had a weird issue where my factory stud wasn't in the positions the instruction said so I had to double-nut the OE stud out. Took forever.... anyway, looks great and sounds even better so I'm happy!

27WON intercooler as well! Install was mostly straightforward. There are 2 sensors on the OE cold pipe that you have to transfer over to the new pipe. There's a small o-ring on each sensor and I broke one ☹ managed to find a replacement. No boost leak that I've detected. Make sure you lube the o rings before install!!

It should go pretty quick. Was my first time removing the bumper so that slowed me down a bit. Did you get the charge pipes or just the core?

Did some fine tuning to my filed logo today. Filed some more to make all letter thickness equal, then sanded with 220 grit sandpaper to remove file marks.

Looks pretty badass on there!
I'm done for today! Got everything off the car needed to do the TIP + FMIC + CAI. Additionally I decided to insulate and paint my heatshields and wrap my downpipe. Tomorrow everything goes back in. Starting with the turbo blanket.

TBH I have no idea if doing this helped managed my IATs as I did everything at once lol...

I can say with the the CAI + FMIC and this heat modding, my IAT is usually equal to IAT2 (full heat dissipation) and those values are usually less than 10C over ambient, as low as 5C over ambient. For the power levels I'm at I would say that heat is being effectively managed.

im fbo/flexfuel/w1 my iat temps are the same as what your saying. I might take them all off and see how they react bc i think theyre ugly in there. When you see 600+ hp custom builds There is never any heat shields. anyone out there take all the heat shields off and have feedback?

I don't have mine on. My iat1 is usually within 10deg F of ambient and iat2 aroun 5-10deg F above that.
