I installed the 27WON TIP today. Install was very smooth, followed their directions and went well. Took 1 hour and 35 mins. I have the prl cobra with race maf, their adapter pipe lined up perfectly. Other mods prl catless dp with maperformance frontpipe back exhaust and tsp stg 1 tune. Throttle response is much crisper, spools up quicker for sure. Turbo sound more defined. Very happy with their product. Will make a bigger difference when I do a drop in turbo. I'm sure the results for PRLs TIP will be similar once released. #27won #prl #maperformance

Looks dope! I’m waiting for 27won to release the race version, I don’t think you’ll need to retune but it’s recommended to take full advantage

If you mean the race MAF you will need a tune for that, I have the PRL race maf and my tsp tune is specific for race maf. You can also choose which maf you have on ktuner or hondata.

I have to figure out the most economical way to switch my PRL cai from street to race with my 27won tip. I purchased my tip to match my street maf. But if I upgrade to the race maf, I will have to get a new pipe from 27won to match with race maf. Wonder if 27won will sell me the silicone pipe alone to match up? I should have just waited but time was of the essence so I had to jump.

I'm sure they can sell just the adapter pipe. Shoot Vincent an email, hes quick to respond.

Does this make any actual difference on the stock turbo?

I doubt it. All of their dyno plots show how the stock TIP chokes out their W1 turbo, and the gains from upgrading with that kit. I plan on doing the TIP and W1.

Wish there was a dyno for upgrading just the TIP

Can’t wait to get mine, it’s shipped out Friday. I am tuned/FBO/flexfuel/W1 so I’m excited to see the difference from the stock tip.

I bet you it's minor enough that it would discourage people from buying it who don't have an upgraded turbo lol. Probably only a few horsepower, hard to feel that difference.

I have stock turbo, turbo spools up quicker, response is slightly better. Like the website says not huge gains but I plan on doing drop in turbo in the future so got this out of the way.

You and I are on the same path. I definitely don't think the TIP alone is worthless but I'm really excited to get that, a W1, and a race MAF on there and have a high flow complete system.
