I have the original model so I can't speak on the newer one, but yes, it is worth it. I noticed a fairly big difference. Way less wheel hop, shifting seemed a little more crisp and clean, and it does a great job at keeping the motor stable under boost. It does have a LOT of NVH at first, but it breaks in after a couple/few thousand miles and not only becomes less noticeable, but you get used to. I've grown to like it. I can feel the motor/trans more, if that makes sense.
