I was actually wondering about the time frame for shipping updates today.Shipping them out as fast as we can.
Thanks for the update! All knob orders as of today have shipped out. You guys were awesome. Thanks for the support.
The factory shift knob can only be (comfortably) used with an overhand grip. This, like many aftermarket knobs, is designed to use either overhand or side grip. As a result, the shift knob itself must be taller than the factory knob to accommodate that style and so if you use overhand then it will feel noticeably taller. This isn't a problem unique to 27WON. Any knob you get that isn't a ball or block of sorts will have these approximate dimensions. I changed out my entire shifter assembly with the Acuity shifter and found myself in the opposite situation of having a shifter that felt too short, until I added this knob from 27WON. So now I shift overhand (like i'm guessing you do) but at the same height as the factory setup and everything is in balance. The irony is that Acuity's shifter is fully adjustable (throw length, knob height, gate spacing) but the taller knob height with the factory knob just felt weird in my hand. For me, the best solution was a shorter setting with a taller knob attached.I just got my 27Won knob and I really don't like it. It is too tall, so my hand more often runs into the HVAC buttons. The shift rows are longer now than I'm used to and slows down shifting. I don't really understand why it was made to be taller than OEM.
