sorry I know this is a brake thread but wheels on the bottom are just too sexy to not ask what wheels are those and size/offset
I can't help with these wheels but my 27WON BBK is complimented by these lovely Titan7's!.......

I have an SPG hatch that I'm going to do the red ones on. It'll blend nicely with the red splitters (front, rear, and sides) I'm putting on.

Did you have a lot of clearance with the 9.5 +38 work wheels? And do you have any rub with that wheel/tire setup?

I'm considering the 27won BBK in the future and also really like those Work wheels, but I was looking at 18x8.5 +30 or 18x8.5 +38 if that can clear the calipers.

As much as I would love to throw on a 9.5" +38 wheel, the thought of 31mm of poke is kind of scary on a lowerer car!

Yes I have lots of clearance. I have very little rub on the front but only on extremely hard dips.

I need to do an alignment to set my front camber to eliminate the rub completely.

The amount of rub will depend on your drop/offset/tire size.

Thanks for your response! I'm not going to be as low as you are in that pic. Just got Ktuned springs for my Si, so might be at 1-1.25" lower all around after they settle. I don't want anything too aggresive for the wheels, so I guess I'll look for a rim design that has spokes for a BBK!

Sorry to revive old thread but did you use spacers with the 9.5 +38 to achieve clearance?

No spacers needed.

If you already have the wheels then print out the template 27won has on their site. And do a test with that. It will show you any clearance issues if you have with whatever wheels you chose.

I'm against using wheel spacers.

Why's that?
Slip on spacers take away needed threads for lugs.

So a 5mm spacer will have 5mm less stud for the lugs to grab.

Bolt on spacers are safer yes as long as its hub centric. Also if the build quality isn't good the spacer can be defective. Also adds stress to bearings. Minimum bolt on spacer would be a 20mm as 15mm the studs hit the wheel I believe. So then In turn you'll be looking at wheels with high offsets.

Using extended studs with slip on spacers can work but not a lot of people go that route.

I have always preferred buying wheels with the right offset rather than using spacers.

These are my opinions, others may say otherwise.
