We will get the Kona N instead of i30N. Much less practical than the conventional hatch but it's a mini SUV so therefore better.
Well here's hoping the next gen civic has the Si in a hatch. That's what I really wanted, but my '18 sedan will hold me over.

Me too, 200 hp, LSD and hatch is enough for me, although I'm happy with the sedan so won't rush to trade in - unless it has more headroom lol.

The only Hyundai I would buy is an i30N (hatch or fastback) - and I don't think we'll get those.

I'm assuming this would be a few grand cheaper than the Veloster N? Could definitely be an attractive buy.

They're estimating it cost around the same as the new updates Vel N. So 32 to 35k

Yeah I'm interested to know because the Veloser N DCT in Canada is $39,399 (for comparison sakes). They've announced the Sonata N-Line coming soon (290 HP, 311 TQ) will be only DCT and $37,999. Hyundai is really stepping up.

Saw one of these Elantras in the wild yesterday, was shocked when I saw the big 'Elantra' badging on the back. They look pretty sweet!

I'm wondering what longevity is like on Hyundai's these days?

Not a fan of the Elantra N styling but here's pics of the production car.

Someone made a joke about how Hyundai and Honda switched styling for the new gens. Hyundai went wild while Honda went mild. Personally I prefer wild. The new Honda sedan is just too boring. Really hope they do something to spice it up in the Si trim.

Uhh yeah. I mentioned that about two months ago.

Hyundai did the smart thing IMO. It will give the brand a shot by some people who wouldn't have looked the Elantra's way. Honda took all the good vides they built up with the 10th and said "FU" and went back to bland and boring.
