245/40/R18
18x9 +40 wheels

EDIT
Damn, thought I had a picture from the rear looking forward...nope.
I just have one from the side of the car looking back.
(I'll need to snap a rear to front shot later)

Rear passenger door, looking back to rear wheel.

I know 245/40's will fit fine but I ended up ordering Continental tires in 235/40 size from 4wheelonline. My wheels are 18x9.5". Will post a picture next time.

What wheel and size/offset is that l liked the way it sets
245/40/18. Wheel spec 18x8.5 +44mm offset with 5mm wheel spacer. Should have used a 35 series profile for the tires instead.

245/40/R18 gives you closer to stock 235/40/R18 in overall size, diameter, and speedo rating.
245/35/R18 you would be off by a bit more.

If you upsize to 255 width, 255/35/R18 would be give you close to stock.

Sorry to dig this up. Trying to make a 245/40 vs 255/35 decision.

Is there a reason you regret the 40 aspect ratio? Thanks!

I don't know if I have good pictures to show how flush they are with the fender or not... I have a set of 18x8 45mm with 255/40R18 RE71R, 245/45R17 Goodyear SC3 on a 17x9 (forget the offset), and will have a set of 245 RT660s on either a 9 or 9.5 RPF1 with 45/38mm offset soon enough.

245/40 vs 255/35 decision will have to be made after you determine your wheel width & offset.

If you're going with 8 or 8.5 wheels and greater than +35 offset, then you should be fine with 245/40.

255/35 should really only be used on a 9" or 9.5" width wheel. And ideally you'd want these wheels to be greater than +40 offset or you may rub if you lower your car.

I just got 18x9.0 +45 wheels wrapped in 255/35 rubber that I'm going to throw on once the weather gets better. Can post pics after they are on!

Hey, thanks for the help!

I have 18x8.5” +35 wheels on the way. I’ve been leaning towards the 245/40 size (Michelin’s PS4S). I am on stock suspension on the hatch, but am considering a slight drop, like the eibach pro kit or whitelines.

No problem! Since you have the hatch, you should be fine with clearance with a slight drop. You could also consider 235/40 for those wheels, but It'll be a tiny stretch.
