Just got the Enkei TSV 18x9.5 +40 wheels mounted on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 s (255/40/18) and was wondering if there would be rubbing if I wanted to get springs?

Thanks!

Most likely, depends on tire brand and which springs you go with. I removed front camber pins and still rubbed on dips in road. I had R compound tires
I was on 18x9.5 +45 on a 255/40 on swift

I'm thinking of running the same rims and from research on civicx, seems like you'll run no matter what lowering springs you go with.

No rubbing but I've never carried a heavy load nor had rear passengers.

Not the same, but I am on Titan 7s +45, 265/30r19 PS4S' with spoon springs, and I rub in the rear when the car is loaded. Unloaded with just me and a passenger, I do not.

255/40r18s are larger than 265/30r19s and your offset is more aggressive, so I would say you most likely will rub if you lower the car

It’ll rub on decent dips. I have the same tires on stock suspension and I’ll occasionally rub. I plan to swap to 265/35/18 and lower then add neg camber in the future
Edit: I have a 35 offset for reference

i'm running 255/40/18 RE71 on 18x9.5 et38 on stock high. it has little rub when i have passenger at back on sport mode.(no rub on R+). i believe you need to work on camber if you want lower with these tires
