missing the duckbill is gonna suck and that tear drop on the subaru looks really weird too compared to the gr86 bumper.

I agreed, the bumper would have to grow on me.. I also dislike how the whole thing is painted and has that black trim piece. I don't have a deadline for wheN I need to let the dealer know so I'm going to sit on it and solidify my decision

the black trim piece i think is gonna be fine because theres going to be a lot of aftermarket companies who will make a front lip that would either cover it or flow good enough with that section.

the duckbill also probably wont be a big deal. Im sure companies will make one or if anything, the oem toyota piece probably will bolt onto the brz lol.

the tear drop however, is not going to be possible to remove unless you go and buy a whole different front bumper lol.

Very true, personally I don't mind the teardrop bit too much. I'd def get a front lip to cover up that black piece.

My main gripes were primarily that black piece and lower grille mesh shape, gotta decide if it's make or break for me

It'll be interesting to see the aftermarket duckbill option for the BRZ since it already has somewhat of a duckbill already formed into the trunk itself.

Wonder when people are gonna start doing bumper swaps? I'm betting they are the same dimensions so you know it's gonna happen.

Also as much as I could wait to get an 86 at MSRP, in general it's also going to be more expensive.

In NJ after taxes and fees I'm looking at 34.5k OTD, 86 will without a doubt be a bit more expensive and even if I could land it at MSRP I'm not sure I could justify the price for that. Even 34.5k for an entry level sports car is slightly pushing it but I feel like these will be some of the last RWD 2 door N/A coupes that will be available.

Won't be able to wait that long for it plus I know it's going to be a nightmare to get for MSRP.

Even though I could "afford" it it would also be a little tight and I don't want to limit my budgeting that much just because I want an expensive car. I'm ok with living within my means for now and years later once I climb corporate ranks I'll consider joining the 40-50k bracket

I have but engine is outdated and I don't really have hype for the new gen, AWD is nice but I don't need it.

RWD lightweight coupe is the main reason I'm so stuck on the brz/86
