2022 BRZ

If I had a choice right now with equal time frames, I would pick BRZ. If both options were available back then that I would've gotten the 86.

The more research I've done into the twins really convinced me that I made the right choice.

Also my exhaust just came in!!!!!

Going to the shop right after work because it's too damn cold for me to even consider doing it outside... gonna post some exhaust clips tonight

I agree, I like the BRZ more as well. The front bumper looks better, and the stock wheels aren't black. If I'm looking at a new car, and the wheels are black, I have factor in the cost to get new wheels, or get the stock black wheels painted a shade of silver, or grey. Subaru BRZ's check all the boxes for me

I found a 2022 86 coming to Illinois about 1.5 hours away, in Pavement. No one has reserved it yet. I asked if it was MSRP and they said "you have to come into the dealer". So I asked my local Toyota dealer if they could trade their auto for their manual. Let's hope this works out. Getting impatient waiting for June ?.

Different state right? Make sure you let them know you're from Wisconsin, seen lots of posts about dealers that will only offer MSRP if you are in state

Yeah I told them I would have to drive 2 hours to come to their dealer, probably for some BS. But at the same time I want to go check (probably get my hopes down).

If they won't commit to msrp prior to you being there, they probably won't at all.

Yeah unfortunately I think CVT might be right.

Should join the 2022 BRZ/86 group on facebook, there's a lot of good discussion in there in regards to people trying to land one of the twins and some of the stories they've had. If they won't commit to MSRP on the phone, chances are that there will be a minimum of some dealer add ons and all that.

When I was searching, every toyota dealer I called could not commit to MSRP over the phone while the Subaru dealers did.

Have had my eyes on the platform since it was announced. It'll likely be the next one that we start doing parts for. I'm really like the special edition 86 that's coming out next year!
