He seems like a nice guy but I cringe every time he knocks on a body panel with his knuckles or smudges his hands all over some area of the paint on a nice car.

Haha yeah. I wish I had half of his energy, also.

Hahahaha I just posted this on the thread also. This is my baby here ?
Cool, I was wondering if the owner would show up somewhere on owner groups or Civic threads. What's with the plastic on the seats, are you storing it and not driving it?

Nah I drive it around. I want to keep it clean since I don’t daily it like that. I would like to find seat covers for it but I haven’t found any good one yet.

......The winner doesn't know how to drive a 6 speed, hence why he never drove it during the Honda promotional video where they awarded him the car. ......
I wouldn't have driven it either and i've been driving manuals for 45 years. Wouldn't have registered it unless i had to. It's a collector car. Sell it (if you need the money) and buy one to drive.

It's such a damn shame an enthusiast didn't win this car
Such a pity it's almost impossible to get enthusiast cars into the hands of enthusiasts for RRP/MSRP.

Of the 19 Australian LEs that people won the right to buy at RRP about half have now been flipped with 4-5 going to static collections in Hong Kong. Quite a few were genuine enthusiasts but the chance to nearly double your money overnight was too tempting.

Go with dealer only sales and you get ADMs. Whatever sales model, if the car is desirable market forces will always push prices up.
