I’ll take mine in white. The dilemma is sell now or trade it in later next spring; seems far away.

I hear they try to hide those... If you overlay the images, the outlines line up perfectly.
Sure and the earth is flat.

They aren't the same
Bumper lines and door lower curves are totally different.
side mirrors are different
Rear door handles are in a higher place than the camo civic.

Those bottom door lines look the same to me.

There's no wing so you might be right but they also haven't detailed the A-spec package yet.

Side mirrors are covered in tape and the general shape looks the same to me.

Consequently, they have the same steering wheel and the dash looks the same. However, it does look like his hand is on a stick-shift. Maybe they will have a third pedal option... or maybe its a blinker.

It might be better to wait a year so the hype is down and dealers are willing to budge on the price.

Also, never buy first year.

Lol those of you comparing the camo type r vs the tlx...

If you've watched the press video the tlx has proportions closer to a panamera or an a7. They go on to say it's bigger than a 3 series BMW. Definitely not civic proportions.

Okay, fine it's the new RSX Type S.

Close, but no cigar! It’s not a twin turbo setup, but rather ‘just’ a V6T. I’ve noticed many others have made this mistake too, all over the net.
Feel like a 3.0TT just sounds "natural" for the luxury market anymore.

The Type-S is prolly outside my "can afford comfortably" budget, but I'ma definitely take a look lol. Acura's taking the right steps!

These are so clearly not the same car, I don't know how you could conflate the two.

From a quick glance:
-Civic has a swage line beginning from headlights and running back, Acura has one at a different height that runs higher and begins at the front wheel well
-Door handles are at different heights/locations/alignments
-Roof line is totally different, including the angles of front and rear glass
-Rear of the Civic Type R is much higher (plus the wing)
-Rear door size and shape is totally different
-Front and rear side glass profile is totally different - the Acura has 3 side windows and the Civic has 2, plus the Acura has a Hofmeister kink
-Front bumper and grilles are different (taped off but still clearly different)
-Headlights are different
-Front wheel well of the Civic ends directly below the windscreen, but there is a significant space on the Acura
-Wheel well shaping is totally different between the 2 cars
-Different caliper placement, front and rear
-Acura's wheelbase is at least a foot longer than the Civic's
-Hood profile is entirely different

All that to say, the camo car is an 11th Gen CTR hatchback prototype, it's clearly not a much larger Acura sedan.

There will be other differing options in the coming year that may entice many. Like, the Corolla GR Hatchback or reconfigured Velositer N w/DSG or improved VW Golf GTI. Whether someone agrees or not, there are other options on the way that will nullify over priced models.

Yeah, just a twin-scroll (single) turbo for lower cost and weight.
