Available in Bellevue, WA (98006). 5800 miles, single owner, never tracked. Full PPF and ceramic applied by Metropolitan Detail in Redmond. Switched to 18" wheels (Titan 7 T-R10) within a few hundred miles of buying the car so the OEM 20" wheels and tires are in great condition. I wear road biking gloves 90% of the time I drive so the steering wheel is in great condition too. First service completed at Lynnwood Honda.

I purchased the car as a place holder when my wife's Model X refresh order got delayed in 2021. We're finally up delivery and I'll be taking her Model 3 for my daily. I've owned and spent time in a good number of cars (AP2 S2000, NA Miata, NB Miata, Mk6 GTI, 992 Carrera T, 992 GT3) and the CTR is by far my favorite. If I had the garage space I'd probably keep it forever.

Trade-in offer from Tesla with the tax benefits works out to $48k. Not many 2021 Type R's for sale in the area, but the few that are available are listed between $52k-55k with higher mileage. Asking $50k with an optional $2k for the T-R10 wheels with PS4S tries. Looking for an easy sale that justifies not just trading the car in.

You should wait to get the Tesla, drive it, then decide not to sell, like a normal person would do when you realize you're giving up an actually fun and engaging car for a poorly put together appliance with no entertainment factor outside of beating a minivan out of a grocery store parking lot.

Haha I sold my ctr recently and test drove a tesla and man is that thing quick from launch. I get that the ctr is more fun driving but I just wanna move quick and the tesla does that for sure. As a past ctr owner I would say that if you’re about tracking your cars def stay with a ctr but for a daily point A to point B there are other fun options

I've been having plenty of fun with the Model 3 Performance I'll be taking from her. Track mode helps it get loose in the dirt:

I thought I'd be tracking the CTR, but so far it's just been used for commuting. The time/effort/cost to get to the track isn't worth it when I just hang out at the sim rig in the basement:

The main reason I'm okay with selling now is because the new job I started a few weeks ago has some significant commute time and I'm too old to spend an hour in the Civic in bumper-to-bumper traffic without my back killing me. I've switched to driving my truck and getting 12mpg while the CTR has been saved for weekend errands. Ready for someone else to enjoy the car more than I can at the moment.

Nice setup! Fanatec with load cell pedals scratches a lot of that driving itch. I’d just go with the trade in or Carvana for less headache. Good luck on the sale.
