It's one of those cars that looks better in person. Saw an N line on the road and was like "whoa, that thing is freaking sexy looking".

I still hate the rear end on it, but I'd probably take it over the '22 honda civic.

kinda scratching my head that the rear seats don't fold down in the new N. That's a feature I'm not sure I would want to do without.
It's a performance car so it has that added trunk brace. Definitely a tradeoff for performance over convenience.

That’s done cause it greatly improves body stiffness if you eliminate the fold down seats. I agree I’d rather have them and sacrifice stiffness.

I believe the new Type-S has a trunk brace, but the rear seats can still fold down, so long narrower items can still be hauled while having the extra rigidity

Actually are we 100% sure the rear seat back doesn't fold down? The reviewer only mentions no rear folding armrest.

In the video there appear to be two tabs in the trunk that would indicate that it does.

I took a fuzzy screenshot of the video:

This was discussed on reddit and they were mentioning the tabs as well. Can't imagine that the seats won't fold. It was also mentioned that while not designed to be removed, on the i30N the trunk brace can be unbolted fairly easily.

I must admit, my young soul that enjoys the styling of the Si does also like the visual spice this N is bringing
