Illinois 2021 CW Honda Civic Type R - $41,500

For sale is my 2021 Honda Civic Type R. I bought it new in January of 2021. The car currently has 1,247 miles. It has no dings, dents, scratches and presents as new. It comes extra with all weather floor mats, tinted windows, ZL1 rock guards front and rear. The car has always been garaged, never tracked or raced (and only seen rain once.) I did the first oil change with around 900 miles on the odometer with Amsoil Signature Series ow-20 oil. The car also comes with a Hondata that I installed with about 1000 miles on the odometer. Besides this, there are no other modifications. The car is practically brand new with everything you want. Asking $41,500. Located near St. Louis, MO.

Changed the oil way too early IMO. Why’d you change it at 900? I know the break in is around that time but the first oil change should be when the system tells you, no? The manufacturer oil has additives to help with break in and etc.

There is no conclusive evidence that Honda puts in a break in oil in their cars. I prefer to flush out the shavings from the break in process and put in a high quality oil early. I have done this with all my cars. None of them have ever burned oil, including my STIs, and have always run strong.
