I don't have winter tires (yet) and it is not my daily. I'll probably drive a little during warmer days in winter. Got some flooring tiles for tires to sit on instead of hard cement surface for longer duration.

Has anyone tried 1” or 2” thick foam insulation? I think I’ll try that instead. It’s only $6 for a 2ft x 2ft square piece. I haven’t had a chance to put the car on top of it and am wondering how much it will compress around the tire.

I just inflate my tires to 40 PSI and leave it alone over winter. No ill effects.

Just get foam tat can handle the pressure. It should be rated in PSI, you'll need it to have a higher rating than your tire pressure. Therefore you should target something around 50psi.

Don't think you will find any with that high of a rating, I think most high density foams can handle something like 5 pounds per cubic foot. So no where near what you need.

I just put mine up on a carpet/insulation foam/carpet sandwich and set the tire pressures to 42psi. Not sure if this helps anything or not but it cost about $5 in material.
