Interestingly there’s no mention of suspension changes or updates to the car in the marketing email I received. Only the rotors, shorter shifter, led mirrors, grill, aero update, and new color.
It was in their actual press release though.

Finally had a closer look at the pics and indeed the 2020 front grill does look a bit bigger and more open, Would be nice to know if it works for track use before buying one. Also good to know if it is a drop in fit for the 2017-2019 cars and are there any other things done to get the "improved cooling" for the 2020 car.

That grill won’t show any improvement for tracking the car. There are important things like an oil cooler and such first. I’ve added a completely open grill, oil cooler and other things and still overheat

You have to wonder how the factory made TCR race cars manage to be successfully cooled. Is it just the hood vents or do they have a bunch of other tricks ? Power is not much different than the stock cars.

From the show some really sweet new tips for spec-l, damn makes me want to switch from Legamax.

(I clipped the photos direct from the net, so you don’t have to go through a million photos)

And yet, still dual tip unfortunately.

Regarding the suspension, is it just the front low control arm that’s changed? I’m considering swapping to either RV6 or Whiteline, but if the new OEM version adds positive caster, I’d consider it.

It’s way more open. I think one of the biggest issues is how tight everything is and the intercooler and AC condenser blocks like 90% of flow to the radiator. Remove all the BS in the engine bay to open things up. Remove AC and you’re doing well.

You should remove the 2017 TypeR from your list of cars under your avatar. Maybe the pic too. Jussayin.

while I don’t care at all, it is odd to sell the car and keep coming around. Sellers remorse?

I’ve never paid attention but I’d bet they own another 10th gen civic. Either way I just find it odd. I’d never hang around forums after selling the car

sell mustang and come back. You know you wanna
