Does anyone know how to pop off the passenger side fog light cover/garnish on the 2020 model?

Update: relocator frame does not need to be re-tightened. know that the black grill will have some scuff marks when you take out the relocator frame.

After copying your location I am trying to think of a different location. Seems like the plate shakes too much there.

Let us know what route you went with. I tightened mine pretty hard and i don’t think it will be coming off. I’ll have a friend look at it while I’m driving as well

Still holding strong. Driven it for about 4K miles. I retightened it once because I wanted to adjust the height a bit. The last meet I went to, I saw someone with the same bracket. Highly recommend it

Gonna try this route on my 2021 instead of the $15 ebay bracket and zip ties I have. My plate is on secure but def not straight. Any lessons learned from install? Thanks!

To prevent drilling holes into my front bumper I mounted my front license plate using a squared “U” bracket with nuts, bolts and washers that I picked up from my local hardware store. Mounted the squared “U” bracket to the very top honeycomb grille opening to allow as much air clearance as possible for the front intercooler. Using big washers behind the grille and squared “U” bracket created a “sandwich” type of hold.

The bracket is secure and pretty solid. Try putting the horizontal metal piece on the top instead of putting it on the bottom like I did. When moving, the bar will vibrate and hit the car. I put a black foam piece to keep that from happening but even that can wear out. I’m not even sure if that even makes sense. I’ll try to snap a pic when I get back to show you what I’m talking about

How much did the dealer charge you for those carbon hood and mirror pieces? Or are they aftermarket

It’s OEM. The carbon fiber package was included when I purchased the car from Honda.

I saw your pictures and I recently ordered the Slybracket to try for my Boost Blue. What do you mean by putting the horizonal metal piece on top? Maybe will need a stronger adhesive to hold the bar in place to avoid any vibrations from hitting the car.

Try installing it flipped the other way around so that black horizontal bar isn’t hitting the bumper?

It's so annoying they didn't make an easy access tow hook adapter integrated in the front bumper.....was so easy to install one of those screw on brackets on my GTI on the factory offset tow hook location.

Considering I do not want to cut trim pieces to run it from behind, either this or my current option (just saying fuck it and taking my chances without a front plate) seem to be the way to go. Option #2 has been working fine so far, including when speeding towards cops driving in the opposite lane face to face.

Getting the sense that with covid they don't give a shit about things like this as much as they used to, or maybe I'm just lucky with this attention magnet with no front plate, dark tinted windows, and generally going well over the speed limit.
