I’m looking at the following wheels 18×8.5:

1. VMR V710 +45 mm

2. Motegi Racing MR 147 CM 7 +35 mm

3. Flow One F2 +40 mm

I find 2 bolt patterns. 5×120 5 x 4.72 and 5×20 65 mm (5 x 4.72). I am assuming for my 2020 Type R?

Thanks so much,

Jim

But you don't have a question there, or if you do, we don't know what you are trying to ask.

I will write this into questions.

First, is 5×120 (X5 .72) the proper bolt pattern for my 2020 Type R?

Or, is the 5×120 65 mm (5×4.75)?

I think it is the first one because I couldn't find any in the 2nd one.

I just wanted the input from those who know more than me.

Thanks so much,

Jim

The bolt pattern is 5x120.

Where are you seeing the 5x4.75 and x5.72?

It’s essentially all the same thing 5x120 is 120mm, 5x4.75 is 4.75inches. 120mm in inch’s is 4.72in. But go by using 5x120

I found the 2 bolt patterns when I plugged in 18×8.5 in the Fitment Industries site. Both were listed in the bolt pattern menu. I tried to take a screenshot but for some reason when I take it, it reverts to the wheel locator without any information contained in it.

I ended up ordering the VMR V 701 from Fitment Industry/Custom Offsets after learning a few days after ordering the VMR V7 10 wheels they wouldn't be available until, at the earliest, the end of January, 2021. These wheels had the +45 mm offset. I purchased Continental Viking Contact 7 snow tires.

I will review the forum's recommendation for summer tires this spring.

Best holiday wishes,

Jim

65 is the bore size of the center hole.
