Rear cargo net mod.
It is sad that a rear net isn't standard equipment! :(
Well, for about $15 you can add a rear net! ;)
I also got one for the floor too, although I doubt I'll use it (wife wanted it).

Sunglasses Holder upgrade
I don't use the grab handles, so swap em out for a place for glasses (~$15/ea ;-)=
Wife asked for this mod as she remembered when I did it on her coupe about a decade ago.
Part: amazon

Footwell LEDs mod
I put some Ice Blue LED strips in driver and passenger footwells.
Looking good and will add more to the rear.

Lowes / Home Depot Grille mod.
For less than $10, this mod looks good and protects the coolers/fins! I have done this mod on a lot of my vehicles. In my opinion, it is a cheap must do mod!

Horn Upgrade
Honda seems to have the wimpiest horns... so this is always a must do mod for me. I went with a set of piaa horns, wired them via a relay, and kept the oem too, so 3 horns are working! ;)

Trailer Hitch Upgrade
I usually add a hitch to every car I own, just because. ;)

Rear Bumper Reflector Sequential RTB LEDs
Toss those bumper reflectors for some sequential RTBs (run, turn, brake). And don't forget to change out the turn and brake lights with red bulbs so your rear end is completely RED. ;)

Parts I used:
- Sequential Reflector RTBs [ like these: fleabay ]
- Waterproof connectors [ like these: Amazon ]

Install
You need to remove rear light housings.
Then remove the rear bumper (if you don't know how, might check on this forum or youtube). On the backside of the bumper, you will need to partially remove the plastic molding to expose the back of the each reflector.
Now you can reach in and unclip the oem reflector and install the new RTB reflector. But first, might add silicone to the RTB seam to help prevent water getting in to the RTB. Next you will need to drill a hole in that plastic cover to route the RTB wiring to the car wiring.

Wiring it Up:
Left turn – Small Gray wire
Right turn – Tan wire
Running lights – Large Gray wire (same on left and right sides)
Brake light – Green wire (same on left and right sides)
Ground – any Black wire (same on left and right sides)

I spliced into the wires, then soldered and taped the wires.
RTBconnectgor02-sm.jpg

I used a weatherproof connectors, to easily disconnect the RTBs if I need to remove the bumpers or replace the RTBs. (Up to the you)

RearLights-sm.jpg

Front Fender Reflector Sequential Switchback LEDs
AND you need to toss out the oem amber running light reflectors and upgrade to sequential switchback reflectors. These are solid white running lights, then 3-part sequential amber turns.
All you need to do is tap into the pos+ turn signal wire.
Fairly easy 30 min mod!
Amazon part: here

The turn signal in the reflector is a three part sequential. Nice!

'ALL ON' Interior Light Mod
This is one of the wife's favorite mods that I tend to do on about every vehicle I own.
This 'ALL ON' Switch Mod gives you one switch that easily turns 'on' the interior lights, just like if you open a car door! AND it also turns 'on' any other lights you added to that circuit. So far I have added ice blue footwell, center console, and cubby LEDs.

AllOn-06sm.jpg

Mirror Mounted Dash Camera
THIS is the wife's favorite so far. This cam has some super clear viewing. I hard-wired it, so a nice clean look and no droopy cables! ;)

DRL + Fog Light Mod
I like to be able to turn the fog lights 'on' when I want to, so I added an aftermarket fog light switch.
In the photo below, the switches 'blue light' comes on with the interior dash lights, and the 'green light' comes on when fog lights are 'on'. And yes, my oem fog light switch, on the turn signal arm, functions as normal. Cost is about $15. ;)

Tinted License Plate Covers
Yeah, nothing spectacular, but really love the way it mutes the bright white license plates for a better look on this black car. :)

What is the brand of your mirror cam?
It's a VanTop H610 2.5K Mirror Dash Cam. My first dash cam. I did a bit of research on mirror dash cams and watched some youtube vids, and this mirror cam seems to have a lot of stuff it can do ;)

Rear camera. Yeah, car needs a good cleaning, when the rain stops.

3rd Brake Light Flasher mod
Nothing but rain all day today, but my flasher module finally arrived. Now the 3rd brake light flashes a few times when you hit the brakes.
Simply snip the oem wires, and insert the module in-between.
About $10 for the module and an hour install.

DRL + Fog Light Mod
Sometimes I like to be able to turn the fog lights 'on' when I want to, so I added an oem style aftermarket switch. Photo below, blue light works with running lights and green is fog lights are 'on'. And yes, my oem fog light switch, on the turn signal arm, functions as normal. Cost is about $15 for the switch and relay. ;)

Tinted License Plate Covers
You can sorta see one of the tint plate cover in above photo. I checked and apparently no state law here about covers (unlike other states). The covers mute the bright white license plates. :)
I have been trying to achieve the drl+fog light look but failed numerous. Do you mind explaining what you did?

Sure, I'll put together DIY How-To and post it.
FYI, the key to this mod is tapping into the fog light relay trigger wire.

DRL - Fog Light Mod

Parts:

- Two posi-tap connectors (or T-tap connectors or splice)
- Aftermarket fog light switch [ like this: Amazon ]
- Add-a-circuit fuse [ like this: Amazon ]
- 4-pin relay (or 5-pin). I used a mini relay [ like this: Amazon ]
- Wire. I used about 2 ft of 22-4 stranded wire [ like this: fleabay ]
- Good electrical tape [ like this: Amazon ]

For this mod, you need to tap into the Fog Light Relay Trigger (pin #1) and Interior Lighting (pin #6) [see photos below]. On my Civic EX, there is a 6-pin connector that many use to tap into for footwell lights, that connector has a fog light relay trigger.

FuseBoxConnector-01sm.jpg

Footwell 6-pin-sm.jpg

NOTE: this switch mod will not turn on the oem dash fog light indicator, AND this mod does not affect the oem fog switch and dash indicator ;)

Happy Modding ;-)=

Install
I started to type a lot of this mod, then decided it might be easier for folks to 'see' a photo of the install. Hopefully this pic makes the mod easier to install.
Note that in the photo below, I used a short piece of 22-4 harness wire to make it easy to see how the wires attached. You will actually need about 2 feet of wire.
Let me know if more info is needed.

Edit: In the instructions below, where I say 'running lights', I am referring to 'interior lighting, so tap into pin #6 (see above photo).
