What the f is "LOA" and "Polysteel". I guess the first one is ADM, no clue on what the second one is... probably not worth $1200 though
Polysteel is their paint and interior protection package.

LOA = ADM

Lack of Availability
Liters of Alcohol (for the salesman)
Lubed Open Orifice (or something similar)

Pick your poison if you’re paying the sum.

Is an 18° F reduction in coolant temperature significant?

From evo.co.uk:

UK prices and availability have not been revealed at this stage, aside from confirmation of a later August release date for the Limited Edition model, and a UK allocation of only 20 of the 100 EU-only units.

Starting with the new 20-inch forged BBS alloy wheels, these new items save 10kg compared to the standard 20-inch set on the GT, and are wrapped in Michelin Cup 2 tyres. The dampers have been subtly modified to suit the lower unsprung mass of the new wheels (and brakes), but Honda claims its calibration is close to that of the standard car.

Inside, Honda has removed the air conditioning, infotainment system and a load of interior sound deadening which all adds up to a total 47kg weight loss, resulting in a 1353kg kerb weight

I don't know why people post pics of these jacked up prices with ADM's, this is what is referred to as a sukkers deal, the dealership puts that out there and they all laugh and say lets see if we can get some complete idiot to fall for the bait. Maybe once in a blue moon they get some fool, but not likely. Its been 5 years since the new Type R was introduced, the hype has fizzled, time for me to bust out my checkbook for a 2020 below MSRP with all the fixes and additions.

Private sale (never trade in) to get top dollar, why would you want to sell it if you just bought it? Your post just reinforces what I just said to do so I'm a little confused.
I wasnt saying that I sold it. I said, I could turn around and sell it for more than I paid for it. But thats also unlikely. The dealers are probably giving you $27K to $30K for a slightly used one and still asking $38K-40K for it, used.

Unfortunately here in the Bay Area it was hard finding the FK8 at MSRP. Dealers were asking $12k-15k above MSRP.

I paid $4.5k above MSRP. ($5K was my limit).

So we will be seeing these Yellow FK8 at least at $60K here in the Bay Area...

*See attached. This was for a 2019 model in San Jose just a few days ago.

I live in the Sacramento area, and know of a few dealers with their cars at MSRP, with no funny stuff added. One of them has $595 for window tint. I bought mine straight off the truck, plastic and all, for $34, 237.15. on 4 Feb, 2020.

Because in some markets, dealers are still asking for adm. Ask for 10k, take, what 2k? Dealers aren’t stupid. They are in the business to make money.

So, those that bought 17s and 18s have been enjoying their cars. Good for them.

Buy the car you want and drive it. Why so much worry about values...

I specifically waited for the CTR 2019 to come out, due to 2nd gear synchro concerns with the 2018 and I wanted a volume knob. I bought my CTR 2019 in March 2019 off the truck with 5 miles on it at MSRP and love the car. I daily drive it, all year around. Compared to the 2020, I prefer my 2019. 02/20/20 HP

So how many dealers will I have to contact to find a 2020 Type R for MSRP within the first month of its release? :(:(

I'll sell or trade in my 2019 for a 2020/21 leftover Boosted Blue or PMM. Agree with post above. Glad I only paid $36.5k for my 2019.

Dealers are going to sell 2020 for ADM in order to sell their remaining 2019s. The 2020’s will sit and collect dust, unless someone is willing to pay that ADM

First month not easy, wait a few months maybe end of month or end of summer.
