Selling my 2020 Honda Civic Type R. Purchased the car new in May and have had it sitting in a storage unit ever since. Wife and I are getting a divorce, so unfortunately, the car has gotta go.

A few short drives over lunch, but otherwise, it's brand new. Only 350 miles on the Odometer. Located just north of the airport in Denver, CO. Asking Price is $40,000. Please reach out if you have questions or want more information.

Not sure CTRs have hit the appreciation stage as far as pricing goes.

Great car. As others have stated, probably a little high. Wish you were closer to the PA area!

Guys, seriously the if he wants to start at 42k let him, the car has less than 500 miles so is considered new, I am pretty sure he understands that is hard to sell these cars privately for the same price a dealership will sell it for, but still if I was selling mine with only 400 miles, I will most likely start high and work my way down depending on the offers. We don’t have to drill the guy while he is down, we already have COVID forcing people out of their homes and cars, I don’t think we need anymore negativity. OP good luck with your sale ??

Thank you! Agreed completely. Open to reasonable offers and just trying to rebound from the divorce and move on with life. If you have negative comments, please keep them to yourself.

As I always like to reiterate. Price goes along with where you live. In Socal 2020 boost blues fetch a premium. A lot has to do with the following in your area as it's a culture. Same can be said for many other models of cars. Here in Socal TRD Pro Tacomas fetch a premium and so do classic cars. People make more money here and the cost of living is higher. Most dealers are asking over $50k on their Type R's here and the crazy thing is I have met many people that have paid close to that.
GLWS dude. I think you priced it right. As someone who got divorced 8 years ago and had to sell off my classic cars in the jamb I totally understand. Cars will always be around. Of course my VW Bus I sold now goes for over $50k. But hey you lose some, you win some.

Here we go again, the forum consistently berates people trying to sell something and there are too many forum members that should keep their opinions to themselves. This is overpriced and I can find that somewhere for a better price. If you don't have something positive to say, shut up. It never fails that someone make a comment about a selling price of a part or a car. Shut up and let people make their own decisions about whether they want to buy something or not. The forum moderator needs to keep a closer eye on this going forward. All these comments just screwed this guy over on him trying to sell his car. I so tired of seeing comments, about pricing and trashing peoples classified ads on here. Ridiculous.
