I don't think you have anything to lose by putting a fan to the interior driver's door panel overnight.. You could even pop one of the bottom corners to allow for more airflow.

This sucks, my dealer blamed an infotainment error on my dashcam...
Just out of curiosity, your car has remote start? still works?

I have had a dashcam installed for several months and I haven't had ANY infotainment issues.. but I probably done the installation "right" with a DROK downstep converter and proper high charging USB wires compared to some rednecking scenarios with some generic electrical tape that I've seen in the past.. ?

UPDATE. I installed a shift knob and I had to twist it a little and now the car fully turns off!
