From Automobile magazine:

0-60: 6.4 seconds
1/4 mile: 14.6 seconds at 97MPH

Great numbers and performed superbly on track! Faster than the Toyota 86 on the track test and Jeep Trackhawk.

With the "HPT option" as well, interesting.

I can only get mine to do 136.... are u saying its low or high?
I was saying it was low but then I realized it was due to the length of the straightaway on the track. Plenty of documented claims of people going faster when given the room.

This was a really cool review. I guess it's always cool when they have nothing but positive things to say about our cars though lol.

Nice find. Had a feeling the 2020 final drive ratio improved acceleration a few ticks.

C/D did not get these results but there’s a lot of variables. They still love it though. All in all, the 2020 is maybe .2-.3.. improved in the 1/4 mile... if anything.

Great numbers/track time for an inexpensive 1.5L 205hp fwd car! Gotta love the Si, man!

Car and Driver in 2017, Aug.
0-60 : 6.3 sec
1/4 mi : 14.8 sec @ 96 mph
Top speed : 137 mph ( gov ltd )
The differences are not significant.
There are many variables that can affect a test :
surface quality, temp, wind, gas, driver.......
For me, the results are equivalent.

Sounds like we’re saying the same thing, guy.

It certainly possible that a 6% increase in the final drive would equate to a marginal improvement. Like I said .2-.3, if any..

After driving both, 6th gear is probably the only noticeable difference.

Believe me, I’m not claiming any superiority to a ‘20 model. Si is just a great little car. Just curious if changing from 4.06 to 4.35 made any difference. Definitely not a big deal though.
