Hey guys, I wanted to put an ad up to sell my civic. A little background. I purchased this car with around 13k miles last summer 2021. Today it has around 22.5k miles with almost everything that can be done to am FC1 except engine internals, and brakes. So basically the only things left would be BBK, built motor, and ethanol if you want to complete it.

Personally, I enjoy the current configuration but need to sell in order to buy another, more practical car.

I understand that you cannot typically recoup costs for mods on cars which is why most part out before selling, but this car is just a riot to drive after being tuned by drob, I would hate to see it returned back to stock. I think my asking price is very fair for someone who is looking for an FC1 to mod. I have put roughly $16k into this car in parts alone.

I would personally like to sell the car for $38k which would also include all stock parts I still have for this car including spare parts such as oil (trans, motor), oil filters, in cabin air filter, and everything else that I have stocked for maintenance. This is a great deal for someone who is planning on doing these mods anyway.

Thank you for looking. I plan on taking more detailed pictures once the weather is nice in the next few days and likely to put on eBay as well.

Below are list of mods, and spare parts I can think of.

That was harsh but yeah, I bought TWO sports for less than that and one was pretty heavily modded.. I feel like this is your I-don’t-really-want-to-sell price… tons of Type-Rs for around 40k on here

I'm trying to figure out a car that is more practical than a 4 door Honda Civic?

If you decide to part out and sell it as stock, let me know as I would be interested in some things.

You will need quite the sucker to buy the car at 38K.

I could see you getting over 30K (in total) if you part out though. I'd guesstimate 25K-ish for the car, plus whatever you can see the parts for.

Also, 16K in parts? I am not seeing it.

25k-ish is kbb trade-in value. pretty low volume of SI’s on the market. if you do a quick search, they are posted for $28k-$30k with more miles and in worse climate conditions.

i have an itemized list of all parts and how much was paid, with a lot of parts coming 2nd hand. if all was paid retail, it would cost more.

i hear where you’re coming from but things add up quickly. a thousand there, 500 here, before you know it, it gets out of hand. this doesn’t even calculate the tools i bought to install the mods.
