not a fan, I'm trying to figure out if they are removable from the plastic or not. I'm curious if someone else has removed them. The new Si's have similar pieces that are painted to match, and with my sport front end being different, I havn't seen anyone else's painted to match on the new sport. I'm wanting to do those at the same time i'm planning on repainting all of the silver trim in my cabin

Edit: something like this

Installed my Cusco rear lower bar. This takes less than 10 minutes. It was the easiest thing I have ever installed other than maybe a decal sticker. The package comes with a pair of bolt/nut. But they were NOT used. This bar also fits the current gen accords. So maybe that car uses those bolts. It doesn’t have any instructions, but if you still need them, you shouldn’t be working on cars.

Take 2 17mm bolts off, stick the bar under there, align and re-bolt.

In the picture, things of note is there is an exhaust hanger there but it is NOT used. This is again a 2.0na engine. I don’t believe there is an aftermarket exhaust for the sport sedan/coupe. Some other system made for the sport hatch and the 1.5t might fit the 2.0na cars b/c they would use that second exhaust hanger.

cusco makes another rear bar that is more expensive, that is what I am looking to get next for my hatchback. That bar though doesn’t fit the sedan/coupe. There are 2 extra attachment points on that bar. And it is for the hatch and type r only.

eBay lip. I think it was $60/70. Fitment was pretty much perfect. No gaps anywhere.

For the price, really zero complaints. Would recommend installing as 1 piece instead of doing sides first like I did.
No drill or drilling is necessary.

The screws are sort of self drilling/tapping; its you just use a screwdriver. Jacking car probably might not even be necessary. But jacking the car up gives you more room to play around with it. I used some 3m double sided molding tape. Probably not even necessary also. But it makes installing it a little better for aligning everything just right.

It’s sturdy. Each side has 7 screws and the middle has another 9. It’s on there tight.

would recommend doing a screw on each side right under the side marker. And then move inwards toward right where the middle section meets the sides. 1 screw on each side there.

This will secure the side pieces and also the middle piece.

And then I would work solely on the middle section with the screws until I am complete and then work back towards the sides...I think there is like more bumper to work with on the sides. So securing the middle section first allows you to not to put too much stress on the middle. The side screws go in really easy...

HIGHLY recommend doing a muffler delete. It’s sooo good. It’s not too loud and it sounds clean it’s not raspy or obnoxious like some people say. I’ve had no adverse affects so far and it just sounds sooo much better with hardly any drone.

Do you have a video of the exhaust sound?

I’m making a custom air intake sorta along the lines of what DarkLight created however I haven’t been able to get much input about the setup so I’m creating my own. Hopefully it works out I will have it all installed this weekend and post my results so stay tuned 2.0L owners!

What info are you looking for? Strong meaning what? Stock power wise, reliability?

Sneak peek of the intake I’ve came up with. I bought an extra air box lid and I’m cutting out the housing for the MAF sensor is this is going to attach to it and then travel downwards in this empty area where the stock air box and resonator would be. Installing today
