I'm thinking about mounting 245/30xR19 tires on the black wheels provided in the HFP package. Does anybody know if these will fit and function without issues?

It will fit just fine. Your speedometer will read fast, which will reduce the top speed from 137 to 133. You'll be going around 58 when it reads 60.

I think you're going a little bit too low profile with a 30 ratio tire. I'd prefer to stick with a 35 ratio like the factory intended on a 19" wheel. I've already seen a photo of a bent HFP wheel even with the 35 series tire.

Is there any particular reason you want a 245/30R19 instead of the factory 235/35R19?

I agree with the poster above. 30 profile tires are way too prone to creating expensive repairs on less than pristine roads. You'll always be a pothole away from a potentially damaged wheel.

The 245 tire is, for me, a subtle cosmetic modification. I'm a 72 year young kid farkling my car. Wider tires are cool. I will take your advice, and gtman's, about the 30 profile tires. 245/35xR19 it will be. And thank you for your help and advice.

Don :)
