2019 Civic SI - PW

Been semi lurking on here a while but my car finally came in. 2019 SI in Platinum White with only 10 miles on it. Can't wait to but a few hundred miles on it so I can really open it up. Volume knob looks cool and I'm sure it will make many people happy

Got a Invidia R400 going on this weekend along with a boomba weighted shift knob tonight.

Love all the tech amenities (Looking at you auto on head lights and heated side mirrors )

Not really, I was able to get them a little below msrp but it started to get a little uncomfortable for both sides hahaha.

I'm sure people are going to ask about some of the small things on here whether if they "changed" or not at all from '18 to '19, and I'll be curious about checking out all of those things as well (on top of hearing what you have to say about them).

We obviously have great taste! I love the white, I was pretty disappointed when they changed over to PW. I went to the dealership to scope it out and the color looked much more off white then WOP. How ever I think it turned out great on the SI! It's such a beautiful color.

Fortunately I am a huge fan of replacing physical/analog controls with digital/virtual controls for most things unrelated to gaming.

I like the volume slider. The only time I wish I had a knob is when I first start the car and infotainment screen is still black/booting. Even the steering wheel control doesnt change the volume right away, so I doubt the volume knob does. It simply isn't responsive yet.

Yup! I love the wheel controls over the knob personally. The head unit is a little bit of a kill joy though. It's slow, I'll push something and wait 3-4 seconds before pushing again just waiting to see if it registered the command.

Android Auto is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever experienced though. I'ts crazy that I have lived my life without google maps in my head unit.

What about the brake hold button?
