2019 Civic Hatch build

Figured I will try and show my build here.
If I can remember to update it that is. I bought this car in April and primarily looking for appearance now. At least until the warranty is over or I get braver as time passes. I like the looks of the Type R but I put miles on my car. I've had it for 7 months and crossed 16k miles already so I can't see spending that much to wear it out. These are pics when I first got it. I'll post some of how it looks now later.

Here is a few days after getting it. I added a Mandalorian emblem on the hood, but it has since come off. Pretty plain, nothing out of the ordinary.

Most recent addition is the 2020 rear air diffuser. A Type R spoiler was added not long after getting the car..

Has I'm digging through my phone, it appears I've lost a lot of pictures. I wanted to do away with all the chrome so I started with emblems.

Last bit I did was to get rid of the shiny black plastic on the ground effects and added the side air splitter.

how'd you do the matte effect?

I painted them with a rattle can. The color is actually Black metallic but it has a flat look to it

Came home to the new grill. Hopefully installation will happen tomorrow.

First time painting with anything other than rattle can and a new grill installed. Got some touch up to do but overall pleased.
