Sorry if this has been done before, but I couldn't find a thread search. hmm am I missing one somewhere or is there not one?
Anyway as the title says it is time for my first Type R oil change. What time of oil (weight) does Honda call for us to use? I assume for many reasons, but also the length of the oil change that it is for sure full synthetic. I didn't get an Type R specific owners manual with my car. From scanning over it the manual I got looks like just a general civic manual... Anyway plan to do the oil change myself at a friends shop using his lift. (Don't really trust dealers with specialty cars as they all want to go for a drive and the Type R seems to be especially that from the horror stories I have read.
Thanks for the answers. I assume the oil change is pretty straight forward and normal for this car correct? I haven't really looked under it or into really.
Thanks!
