Maybe some software updates for those glitchy touchscreens? But aside from that, i dont see anything glaring that may need to be changed so soon

I would have thought with the 2018 model year we could expect mid-model changes/refreshes? Anyways, I'm looking to get a new Civic within the next 3-6 months but haven't made up my mind to get a 2017 or a 2018.

It's every 3 years for Honda, not 2.

2018 model year is 3 years. Hondas have a 5 year product life cycle so technically it's 2.5 years for a mid-model change/refresh.

3 model years not actual years. The hatch has only been out for what, 8 months? Why would they refresh the coupe and sedan when every car shares parts?

I could see the 18 or 19 going from the lane watch camera system to a blind spot indicator system

The may not see a mid-cycle update until the 2020 model year due to the staggered roll-out of the various trims.

I would expect at least a level 3 autonomy by 2019. Most of the big auto manufacturers are striving for level 5 by 2020. Honda seems to be dragging their feet, or unable to keep up with most of the others
