2018 Honda Civic EX steering wheel crunching noise when turning

Has this sound gotten louder/worse for you since then? I just purchased a used civic and I'm noticing this problem as well.

From when I made this thread up until I sold the civic last April, I didn’t really notice the sound anymore, it seemed to have gone away for the most part. On some super cold mornings though it was still faintly noticeable, but better than before. If you have some sort of warranty with your used civic, I’d recommend bringing it up with your dealer if it’s really bothering you.
