Can someone please help me here. 1 week ago my car was at the dealer for changing oil and filter, I said to them I had a wierd resonance high pitched sound, that doesn't change tone with different speeds but increases in volume as the speed goes up. I had Michelin Primacy 3 when I noticed the issue. They couldn't see any difference between my winter tyres, Yokohama and summer tyres, Michelin. It is not normal road noise and wind noise.

Now I got some Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 on the 17" rims and the wierd sound is still there.

I uploaded a video here:

Most noticeable at 12-15 seconds.

Please use headphones. The sound is unbearable and I am literally going crazy. Can it be wheel bearings or brakes? The sound have gotten worse and worse, and I have now done 14k km.

Dealer says it is normal for this car.

The dealer just doesn't want to troubleshoot this issue, my 2018 sport sounds nothing like that. Can you feel anything in the steering wheel or in the car that seems to be relative to the sound?

Nothing in the steering wheel, but the wierd sound does change a bit when running over small bumps in the road. Our roads in Denmark is pretty good and the sound doesn't change if the surface changes.

I would try taking it to another dealer if possible, there's so many rotating parts in the front that it could be that it'd be best to get them to actually do their jobs and troubleshoot their product that's under warranty.

So basicly the other Honda dealer said it is tyre noise from the wheel arches. Just surprised nobody here have the same sort of noise. I allready spent around 850 dollars (Remember danish salaries and tax :) ) on new tyres and diagnostics on what the problem could be.

They advised me to get the rear wheel arches covered with some thick bitumen to dampen this sound. I have just no idea how to proceed because money is going out the drain as nobody can promise anything. So i reached out to Honda asking them how to proceed.

If you want to reduce sounds I would look to adding sound dampening to the interior hatchback area including wheel arches, use a sound dampener together with closed cell foam layer. Did this to my 2012 Si which was driving me crazy before that - I didn't find the hatchback to be nearly as bad so never did it to it.

That's what I used for the Si but you can find other brands, not sure what is available in your region.

Is there a guide on how to get to the rear wheel arches from inside the trunk on a hatchback? Removing boot interior?

After getting the summer tyres back on, Goodyear F1 Eagle Asy 3, 235/45 R17, the noise is back, but not as bad as last year. I will take a Honda technician for a drive in May, and demand they do a full wheel alignment and adjust the front camber with my summer tyres.

The noise wasnt there with my Yokohama winter tyres.

Different tires can cause different sounds on different surfaces. You could always take a drive to a few neighboring countries and see what results you get.
