Hi all,

Just bought a 2018 Beautiful Aegean Blue CIVIC SI 6 speed manual Coupe.

Trying to adjust the brightness on the dash lights/guages, manual shows turning that black knob/shaft on the instrument panel back and forth to adjust the brightness but that does nothing?

Is the knob defective or do u adjust the brightness on the guages a different way on the SI model?

Thanks!

I had to really turn the knob alot to notice a difference. Keep turning and turning in the same direction.

I don't have an Si, but on my EX-L that knob doesn't do anything during the day. The dash is always at full brightness. It only works at night with the lights on. I think it's working as intended.

Turning the knob on mine alters the cluster lights. Was a while back, so I don’t remember if it was day or night.

Remember if you turn it to the max brightness then android auto or apple CarPlay will never go to dark mode at night
