I voted the q50 as I don’t think the tune is enough to beat it in a straight line. I wouldn’t bet money if I were you.

Well my father got a red sport 2016 and its an other class performance... before he had a g37x 2013 3.7 and I drove it. I think, I can't say that the g37x was more pulling than my civicx si on ktuned dual starter / 21.5 psi and mods...

I'm trying to race on the highway vs a q50 3.7 or 3.0t ... the are maybe same performance but they are always old xD

So the verdict is in. After a few separate races - the Q50 stood no chance from a roll at 50+. Wouldn’t put my money on taking him from the hole by any chance and also don’t want to dump my clutch or eat up my tires for it to find out.

Sorry for the super late post guys. I’m still here lol

Heck no dude a q50 will smoke the si I raced a q50 the base model, that thing stayed in front and I have bolt ons and tsp stage 1 tune ....

PS: a q50 is pretty much like a gtr r35 just with a smaller motor
Edit: sorry man didn't know it was a 2014 but still probably not enough

I've driven a gtr r35 and own a q50; there is no comparison. The two cars are nothing alike. The q50 is a an entry level luxury sedan, its steering is numb, it has a responsive engine with great power. But by no means is comparing a q50 and r35 remotely similar.

A stock q50/q60 only trap in 101-103 MPH range. I'd imagine they would beat a re-flashed SI, but calling them GTR like seems like a stretch.

Having said that, the red sports are much faster than the base models. Is that what some of you are thinking of?

They would beat a reflashed Si from a dig easily, but different story from a roll.

Finaly raced vs q50 2015 with exhaust mods ( v6 3.7) on the highway and I was pulling more than him ( I'm ktuner 21.5 psi ) .. he maybe pass me 0-60 because awd ... Remember q50 2016+ red sport you need more than 21.5 to go get the red sport from a pull on highway . I figure it out ... My father have a red sport and I think 25 psi minimun will be good to get those 400hp.... with this setup I pulled on the highway vs my friend his audi s4 2015 stage 1+ and he had like 2 car away from me ... well this little 1.5t tuned with low weight its pretty surprising.

This is 100% on point to what I experienced. I raced my friend's Q50 Sport - not Red Sport. He also has a ghetto-rigged straight pipe (cat rusted - replaced w/ straight pipe) but stock muffler. Don't think it makes much of a difference but sounds like a beast! Again, from a roll on the highway w/ my 21.5 PSI Ktuner Tune (w/ aggressive spool, etc...) and no other perf mods on my end - this was a cake walk.

I've owned a 11.1 second (1/4 mile) Mitsubishi GSX in the early 2000's (that was stupid fast for a bolt-on Japanese car back then :respect:) and used to be in the tuner scene heavy. Since then I've slowed down (literally ) but my appetite for turbos won't go away. I'm still surprised at what this car can do with displacement smaller than a soda bottle and a snail the size of my girlfriends fist. It's pretty impressive. I'll be letting her breathe more after doing a little work over the winter (my car - not my girl... same difference I guess).

Haters gonna hate ‍:flame::hater: ... flame on player.

Probably the q50 wasn't trying but I'm talking about the 3.0t not the vq35
