2018 civic aftermarket radio help

So i have a 2018 civic Sport hatchback 1.5T...
Anyway i bought an aftermarket head unit but now that i receive it, it’s for the 1.8L 2016+ civic from Asia............ so the harness doesn’t completely connect... i will attach a pic of the rear of radio and here is also link to a YouTube video i made showing everything...

So far as I can tell... your car model has the non-infotainment/Sensing integrated stereo, right?

If so... I had the same in my 2018 LX Coupe. I just connected the power, antenna, and speaker wires. I didn't bother with steering wheel controls or backup cameras.

I mean, generally, you'd like to have a unit that's listed as compatible with US models. Not saying it can't be done. But if the Asian models don't have backup cameras, for example, I don't know why this stereo would have that option. Also... I don't think that the radio tuner is going to work with US stations.

From what I have read in other threads; it's sometimes a pain to get it all to work even with models listed as US compatible. This seems like it's be even more complicated.

Yeah you might as well save the disappointment and just return it and get the correct one because they are already confusing enough to set up as it is without being for the wrong car. Consider getting a Phoenix or Dasiata one since I can't imagine the $170 ones being remotely reliable since the higher end ones I listed are randomly buggy enough (but are reliable 99% of the time which is enough to make it worth it).
