Columbus is kind of Honda’s American home, so it seems appropriate that Honda got pride of place right inside the door.

I test drove a Clarity plug-in, and actually it would be an easy car to live with. I liked the interior better than the Accord. It was my first time in an Si, and I thought the CTR seats were more comfortable.

The new Odyssey’s interior was really nice. I’m biased, but Honda’s interiors were better designed than most of the other brands. I have to give the prize to Lexus, their interiors were the best.

What surprised me was the number of cars I can’t fit in. I’m exactly 6ft, slightly over in shoes. The Focus ST, which has miserable seats, was at the lower end. The Miatas/Fiat are doable but uncomfortable. I couldn’t shift the BRZ without banging into the wheel or underside of the dash.

Others, like the new Kia Stinger didn’t have enough head room. And perhaps it’s just me, but I cannot see out of the Camaro. The STi was comfy, but it’s interior was just not great. No place to put your phone Subaru? Really? The Mustang continues to intrigue me, as does the Lexus and STi, but none of them have the combination of performance/livability/price that the CTR does.

BTW, that’s Ford’s 50th Anniversary tribute to the Bullet Mustang from the movie.

My favorite quote from the crowd looking at the CTR: “ this must be the basic model, it doesn’t even have a sunroof.”

Nice pics! The Focus ST seats break in once you have sat in them for a while. I find them much more comfortable than the Si seats to be honest.

Could be, it might just be personal preference. I found the seat was putting pressure on the back of my legs at the edge of the seat. That would make shifting difficult after a while.
