Checking online I don't see any recalls coming up though yet (honda.ca)

A couple of people were notified by their insurance (GEICO) or through Carfax.

Currently it states my 2019 is not part of the recall. another link someone posted stated that letters would be mailed out late July

Call your local dealer because mine was showing up with nothing so I called them and they said my car is affected but they aren't ready to fix it they will contact me when ready so I would call and see if your type r is affected

Ugh I was planning on taking the type r down to our place in the OBX but I’m not sure I’m keen on that if there’s a chance the pump will go.

I think honda canada has their database updated. Seems like the US one hasn't been updated yet. That's my guess as to why armenls1 found his VIN.

Would be a good idea to keep checking you VIN for the next few weeks since Honda is supposedly sending letters out in July.

Just checked this morning after checking all week. I have a 2019, recall is finally coming up on the site. Now the anxiety of leaving the car at the dealership for work once they have a fix figured out.
