Just got my stock exhaust removed and a connected by a straight pipe welded to the remaining stock pipe. The sound is amazing and very deep with a popping sound between gear changes. The best way so far to make your sound amazing.

Yes, a sound clip would be awesome. Are there still resonators somewhere, or was everything in the muffler? Just wondering if there is a loss of back pressure, that would result in a power loss, etc. Anyone know?

There is a resonator in the middle and I left that alone. I am very surprised that it feels like the SI gained a some power and the turbo spools little better but it might just be me or because of the sound.

While I appreciate the performance and efficiency of some V6 and I4 engines, I don't like the way they sound compared to a V8, so this isn't my cup of tea - but to each his/her own...

Sounds good, Im curious to see what leaving the 2 back muffler but taking out the 1st resonator / muffler would do.

Yeah not sure about the sound with no mufflers. Might be worth seeing what some aftermarket companies come out with to get a smoother, but still deeper and louder sound. Without the mufflers, it sounds a little too raspy to me. Potentially could be the sound quality of the clip though.

I agree.4 cylinders sound best when muffled. V8's are another story.

A couple pulls from inside the cabin would be nice, probably would do more justice with the audio from inside the car.
