2017 honda civic not working

I have a 2017 honda civic lx..it is blowing just hot air..I heard there is a problem in the USA that people are having issues with the compressor

Has anyone here in Canada had problems with there ac?

When they replace it do they fix it for good with better parts or will it blow up again in 2 years?

Is there a way I can check my vin to see if it would be covered by the service bulletin?
My warranty is expired but I do have extended warranty

I had to have it fixed twice

Just got the warranty extension letter in the mail today so dealerships in the GTA should be well aware of this issue now.
