Any info on your tow hitch? The box was used once from NY to FL and back. New cost over $800 and I paid $400. The roof rack is over $500 new, I paid $200 and it was used for about a year. I had to buy fit kit (specific to car as the one used was off a Nissan Sentra) and wind screen was a total of $200. It was $500 to paint box body color and bars gloss black. So around $1,300 invested. I am very happy with it and just in the 2 days so many looks and people stopping me to talk haha. It was listed as the Thule Motion XT Xl on the site which in my eyes was pushing it already and when I got to the place to buy it was the XXL. As for the noise and handling I just posted a reply above. No great snow fall yet and only used on bare roads, hopefully it'll only help with being heavy. I actually have pretty wore tires now but have an appointment this Friday 11/23 to install new all seasons - Vredestein Quatrac 5.
Looks really nice - I'm contemplating a similar setup with the Thule cargo box. Any issues with the box preventing the hatch from opening all the way?2017 Honda Civic EX-L NAVI Hatchback with Thule Motion XT XXL cargo box painted body color, Thule AeroBars painted gross black and Thule windscreen.
Do you have the part number of Cruz fitting kit. I have Civic 2015 with glass roof but the roof seems same however Cruz only says the current kit is only for 2017+.These are my roof bars from the Spanish Cruz for the euro spec Civic 1.5 Sport Plus, with panoramic roof. The roof bar feet don't "touch" the glass roof, so it's very safe for it. The only restriction is that I mustn't open the glass roof while the bars are on the car, but this isn't a problem for me. Below I attach some pics of it.
