I'm purchasing a 2017 civic sedan ex-t manual at the end of April in NC Charlotte, I'm curious what you guys payed in your area and what is a "good deal" for this brand new vehicle?

I didn't do any haggling. I wanted the car so I ended getting just $500 off of sticker.

I got it for 21k OTD in Texas, after recent grad discount (500 off). I'd recommend shopping around if possible... first dealership wouldn't work with me, wanted 23.3 OTD. Second dealership had the easiest and nicest salesman/manager ever. Hope that helps.

I got mine for $500 under MSRP right when the 17s came out. I think it was like $21835.

I got a lifetime powertrain too but I'm going to void it as soon as my 3yr maintenance is up... Fine print says all maintenance has to be done at a shop with records printed on official paperwork or something to that effect. I do all my maintenance myself and hand-written records don't fly. Also says oil changes at least every 7500 miles but I have a feeling the maintenance minder is going to try and wait longer so every oil change might end up an argument with the dealership as well...

I'd rather do my own oil changes, but will check the fine print to see if that will cause any warranty concerns. The warranty was complimentary so If i have to take it in to shop for oil, no biggie. Will just bring my own oil

Yeah, I might just need to change my mindset on the whole thing. Probably still making the choice to do it myself based on older cars where timing belt, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, etc... was done much more often and always by myself and not a shop, but I guess this service schedule is so relaxed and doesn't really kick in for a long time it could be worth it to bite the bullet now and then to pay somebody else. Although I'll private void the warranty with mods LONG BEFORE I void it because of maintenance choice lol

20,905.14 out the door, including protective package (mud guards, door guards, wheel locks) taxes, tags, destination, dealer processing fee, etc. at the end of December, 2016 in College Park, Maryland.

Some dealers in the area wanted 24,5 out the door, and that's the lowest they would go. Crazy.

I paid $20,000 plus taxes and title. Had to drive 100 miles to find one, doesn't seem like there are very many out there especially if you're looking for a specific color. It made negotiation really hard knowing there wasn't any more within another 500 miles.
