I wish it had blind spot detection like EVERY other competitior for 2017...........2017 Mazda3/Elantra/Impreza all have radar blind spot detection and Civic has nothing.

Yes, I noticed that as well. It sounded like they could only look at the exterior.

I test drove a 2017 EX model recently, and I fell in love with it. The CVT transmission is smooth, and it is easy to drive way over the speed limit if you aren't paying attention.
