Awesome pics! I am not too fond of the two tone interior. I also think that would work better in the sedan, but no, it's not available at least for the 2016. I'll also have to find out if we can swap out the mirror for the expanded view driver's side mirror from the sedan/coupe. I know some people hate it, but I think it's a neat idea.

Yeah, the more I look at the hatch, the more I'm not feeling it, especially the rear. Glad I got my Touring already. All I need to do is just swap the grills and the wheels and I'm set to go.

Got two of these in stock today at Rick Case Honda Davie, FL... This is the black one we have in our main showroom... I'll upload another post with the white one...

Some things I've noticed here are:
- I REALLY like the hatchback more than the sedan/coupe... It's not even a question after seeing it in person...
- No Easter egg printed on the bottom of the center console rubber thingy (see next post for a pic)
- the speakers in the rear are mounted in the door along with the tweeters... Sound is better than sedan with this setup I think!
- two tone option on certain colours? (See the white pics below)
- more rear headroom
- more cargo space than pics can show
- better visibility through the rearview mirror (see next post for an image of the mirror view). The entire mirror is window and clearly visible.
- no expanded drivers mirror line (see below post)
- no subwoofer (EXL model shown in both posts)
- darker accent pieces on the interior to match the darker wheels.
- black headliner (was previously mentioned that only sport and sport touring would get this)
- rear headrests are not separate
the1dynasty , do you think the exterior has better alignment as far as the panels and gaps are concerned. I read many post on here people complaining about alignment issues with the 2016 sedans?

Me too!
Am I the only one who can't differentiate the front from the rear?
If I had to buy one, it would be in black to hide all that ugly plastic in the rear bar.

Are there any other angles you guys would like to see? I'd be happy to snap some more pics of these for those who can't make it in to see right away... May even shoot a short video overview in a bit...

Commenting on the plastic honeycomb areas on the front and rear facias... I personally think most people will appreciate the design a lot more once they see it in person... Pictures just don't do it justice at all... They really accent the car well and you don't focus so much on the fact that it's not functional...

It's hard to tell on the black one I have... But from what I've looked over on the two we've gotten in, it appears the gaps are a but more consistent in build...

Any issues folding down the rear seats with the non-removable headrests? Do the front seats need to be moved forward first?

Thanks for all the pics. I'm really digging the two tone interior.

Hondas always tend to look better in person than they photograph. I've found that true 90% of the time over the years. I'll wait to see one in person, but it's gonna have to really wow me to temp me away from my EXT coupe.

That said, quick question, is the back window actually 2 pieces of glass? Like actually a split rear window (like previous hatch models), or is it one big sloped piece of glass that just goes under the rear spoiler? Some pics it appears split with 2 pieces and others it looks like 1 piece that just goes under the spoiler.

Some two tone interior shots too!!
Two tone interior = yuck! They should have gone all beige or all black. If you want two tone, do contrast stitching. Not a fan of the two tone interior - every other Civic I've seen with it looks just ugly... its neither here nor there. Although the worse two tone was what Honda did with the 9th gen Si - that black/orange was just way too overdone.

The LX trim needs some love too. First images.
I think the LX's 16's actually fit the hatch well, and look quite nice.

Yes!!! I'm glad someone finally posted the LX. It looks really nice for a base model, imho. Now if we can just see the Sport...

We probably won't start seeing the Sport trims until the next few shipments. My dealer told me they had one being built, and it probably wouldn't arrive till mid-late October. Judging by the transport pictures, some have already been built though, but it looks like the first batch are mostly EX or EX-L trims. Since we've seen an LX (although rare at this point), it's possible we might see some Sport models too.

I tried to show here... It is one solid glass... The spoiler makes it look split...
