2016 Coupe - Flaking Rear Tail Light (Trunk)

This was a while ago, but though I would make a thread.

Noticed during my first wash (hand wash), in August 2016. Had about 400km then. So I'm pretty sure the flaking was there when I picked it up from new. From 400km to 800km it got worse (didn't bother with pictures as it was going in for replacement).

Flaking edge is the mating side to the trunk. Much more noticeable, when the sun coming from the front of the vehicle. Initially they didn't want to replace it, but told them it was ridiculous as the it only had about 700km at the time, they went ahead and replaced it.

Just a heads up for others, I'm sure my car isn't the only one and not a easy thing to spot. There was no impacts marks from rocks, etc also.

Remembered to check today on the replacement. SAME ISSUE ..... Not as bad considering it has about 8 months and 10,000km on it, but still ridiculous... Don't know if it even makes sense trying to replace it again.

Any other coupe owners noticing this ?
