2016 Civic Ex-t Multiple warning lights

My car is giving an issue that I can’t seem to fix, the gear indicator in the instrument panel isn’t showing a specific gear. It’s like PRND all at once, it’s just flashing. The car starts, when i shift from park to drive, the dash indicator doesn’t move and the car jus rolls. No matter how much i press the gas. What causes this ??

According to the manual I think it can be a transmission problem? Your car might still be under some warranty.

Are you seeing any warning lights saying anything about the transmission? That’s what the manual says I believe that you would see some messages. Since your thing is flashing it’s likely issues with transmission. I am no expert in any way, so I cannot say what the problem is. You can ask Scotty Kilmer on YouTube? It is showing other lights like check engine, tpms, abs. But thanks I’ll check him.

You could also inspect the engine compartment for a nest of furry marmots who like to nibble on wiring.

I changed the engine wire harness already

Just curious... what caused you to change the harness? If it was rodent damage; there may be more that's not as obvious. Has the car been in an accident? Mods?

It has been in an accident which resulted in the old harness and ecm being destroyed. So I replaced both, after i did that I noticed the problem.
