Hey Civicx,
Car: 2016 Civic EX Sedan (non-turbo)
I have a been a long time lurker since I bought the car new in 2016. I have run into an issue with my strut assembly, maybe? It is my daily driver with no mods, and I do mostly highway driving. This surprised me when it started about 6 months ago and has gotten to the point I cannot ignore it. Only happens at low speeds and going over uneven pavement/bumps on the driver left-hand rear side. My friends think I lug around a dead body in the back... or my car is falling apart... awesome.
Keep in mind I live in Canada and its below 0 degrees(Celsius) for 6-7 months of the year. I have been reading that this is the major culprit for the civic strut dampeners to act up. I am posting to figure out the best fix, as I am already out of warranty. I do not want this fix to cost an arm and a leg to diagnose on a relatively brand new car.
Any help would be appreciated. I think this is my problem, but uncertain and would like some input.

I read through these threads but it was back and forth on what it could be and I could not figure out what was the best way to proceed. The sound is identical to the SI thread.
Thank you!
