2016 Civic 1.5L Turbo Surges at Highway Speeds (45–70 MPH) S.B. #16-028

I just purchased a used 2016 touring with 35k miles and I noticed the issue. I didn't buy the vehicle from honda but I brought it in yesterday and they completed the updates, charged me $99 plus tax and that has resolved the issue as of now and increased the combined mpgs to 37 from 33 after 2 tanks of gas.

You’ll be fine. Same car as me. I got the update in 2016. Been driving fine ever since.

I work for a honda dealership, so I it's from honda interactive network, I also have a touring with this issue, we still don't have the software available at our shop, I called honda warranty today and they are supposed to have a meeting about it and let me know when it will be available to the dealership

my non turbo civic does this and its been driving me crazy. I've been told in. other threads that and update might do the trick. is that just something you call about?
