According to the date it doesn't come out until tomorrow and the HDS software version has not been released to the dealerships yet, it might be tomorrow since the bulletin will be out.

do you just caller up any honda dealer to schedule for the software upgrade? or do you have to have the symptom first for them to do it?

Just say you have the symptom and say you want it done, shouldn't be something they need to try to duplicate.

Mine surges slightly in the 45-70 range but its real bad at 80+ mph... I wonder if I'm screwed on that

I'd just have the update done and if it's still there bring it back, might be a transmission issue or start clutch like the older cvt's issues, I barley notice mine but I can feel it at about 70+ at 2400rpm, almost feels like it super windy outside, but it can be felt

Keep us posted, wonder if it'll change anything in terms of drivability.

Just got my schedule for Tuesday. They didn't ask anything. Told me just to bring it in.

Similar situation here, still low mileage, no surging issue yet, have had the car coming up on 3 weeks. Not sure when I'll be going for my first long drive, but am happy I can get the software update before it comes up.
